Eric Habjan

I am Physics PhD student at Northeastern University working in Jacqueline McCleary's research group. My thesis research involves studying the mass substructure inside of galaxy clusters. A robust understanding of the motion of the gas, stars and dark matter inside of the substructure of galaxy clusters will enable experimental constraints to be placed on the particle nature of dark matter. In addition to my thesis research, I am conducting research on the interstellar medium of nearby galaxies and making astronomy more accessible to my hometown observatory.
